March 2025 Kočani, North Macedonia Partnership Meeting

Project Kick-Off Meeting

The Community & English Project Kick-Off Meeting brought together team leaders and partner representatives in Kočani, North Macedonia, marking the project’s main face-to-face transnational partnership meeting and providing a common starting point for implementation. The partners reviewed the project’s objectives, expected results, target groups and cooperation framework and aligned their responsibilities for the work ahead.

The partnership reviewed the main stages of Community & English, including development of the Community-connected learning concept and Teacher Handbook, creation of the VR-based educational software and User Manual, preparation of the strategic transnational partnership document, the two teacher-training events, long-term teaching/learning assignments, the Blended Mobility and the project’s communication and dissemination activities.

A central part of the meeting focused on coordination and the responsibilities of the project teams. The partners established the Project Steering Committee together with the transnational teams responsible for training and development of project outputs, implementation of teaching and learning activities, and communication and dissemination. These structures provide the framework for monitoring progress, coordinating responsibilities and supporting cooperation throughout the project.

Administrative, financial and time-management arrangements were also addressed. The partners reviewed project-budget responsibilities, Erasmus+ financing requirements and the documentation required during implementation. A detailed activity timetable, internal checkpoints and deadlines for organisational preparations and project materials were agreed to support coordinated and timely implementation.

The meeting also established the practical basis for continued cooperation after the partners returned to their countries. Regular online coordination, shared digital working spaces and direct communication channels support ongoing collaboration among the project teams. With responsibilities and the implementation framework clarified, the partnership moved forward with development of the project outputs and preparations for the international teacher-training activities.
